Dr. Lauren was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Middlebury College and then attended dental school at the Arthur A. Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. During her time at UOP, she served as class Vice President and student representative for the Alumni Association and graduated with Tau Kappa Omega honors.

After dental school, she worked with a pediatric dental group in Los Angeles and decided that she loved working with kids. She moved to Hawaii to complete her post-graduate residency program in pediatric dentistry with NYU Langone Health. During residency, Dr. Lauren served as Chief Resident and completed an externship at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego to gain more experience working with children with special health care needs.

Dr. Lauren is board certified with the ABPD, has hospital privileges with Shriners Hospital and Kapi’olani Medical Center, and continues to teach pediatric dentistry residents with NYU Langone. She also volunteers her time with Give Kids a Smile and Special Olympics.

Dr. Lauren enjoys working with her husband (Dr. Goto) and the rest of the ToothBuds family!
