Dr. Hans was born in Vienna, Austria and grew up in the Philadelphia, PA area. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a double major in Biology and Chinese language, and then attended the New York University College of Dentistry. While in dental school, he received the AADR student research fellowship, ADEA Academic Dental Careers Scholarship award, and was selected to join the OKU National Dental Honor Society.
After graduating from NYU, Dr. Hans received his two-year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Columbia University - New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, where he served as the Chief Resident. Prior to his move to Hawaii, Dr. Hans worked in private practice in New Jersey, and also served as clinical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine Pediatric Dentistry Clinic.
Dr. Hans strives to provide the highest quality care and give every patient a happy dental experience. He believes that every child deserves a healthy and happy smile and hopes that all his patients grow to love coming to the dentist!
